All About Air- Spring Term 2015

Image
I must confess, the Spring term brings forth my favourite theme: All about Air. We'll be exploring the melodies of bird songs, to the exquisite sounds of Arias. Delving into the natural symphony of wind and birds, we'll also explore wind and percussion instruments like ocarinas, bird water whistles, and the rhythmic beat reminiscent of woodpeckers. Woodpecker Get ready for some hands-on fun! In the coming sessions, we'll be crafting instruments using our favourite vegetables (carrots and broccoli) and immersing ourselves in a delightful Sound Story featuring the book: "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." Additionally, we'll dive into the world of simple sound-making using everyday materials, including straws. For a visual sneak peek, check out this video from 'BBC Ten Pieces' on: How do woodwind instruments make a sound? For bookings or more information call or text 07825705321. Instruments showcased during the lessons are available for sale...
