All about Water- Autumn term 2015-2016

And here are some samples of the work—a truly productive term! Several children enthusiastically delved into their Sound books, and it's evident to see their journey unfolding from one book to the next (pictures are arranged chronologically by date). There are remarkable recordings made by the children that will soon find their way into this blog!

3-Year-Old Troubadour:

Tommy is captivated by Cuban salsa. The love for glissandos (gliding from one pitch to another) and intricate, fast-paced rhythms is apparent. He has shown keen interest in understanding the inner workings of the human body, particularly the intricacies of blood and the heart. The process of creating sound books has been thoroughly enjoyed by him.

Ayla is interested in singing. She improvises songs  about recent events, like a true troubadour. She is interested in listening to written Music and asks for help to play on the piano the sound books. She is interested in Rock Music and in using a microphone to record improvised songs with words.
